The House on Mango Street: Team Trees , Period 5 :D

- The house on mango steet is a novel by Sandra Cisneros which included some of her past  life and her real thoughts and feelings. This book is realistic fiction. Our team has to write about anything that has to do with trees that was included in the book. While reading Trees were only mentioned twice so far. We look foward to reading more about trees in this novel. We read about 10-20 pages each night and we answer at least 2-3 questions. At this pace we will complete the book in a short period of time.

  1. Hello, Tree Girls. Nice job starting your blog. You are doing good work! You need to make a few corrections to your first blog. When you write the title of the book, you need to capitalize the first word in the title and then important words, like this: The House on Mango Street. Your 4th sentence is confusing. Were the trees reading? Were they upset that they weren't mentioned? I think you meant, "So far, we have only found trees mentioned twice." So, what do you think of the four skinny trees outside of Esperanza's house on Mango Street? Also, have you considered writing your individual vignettes? Come visit my blog because I am writing mine tonight.

  2. Team Trees,
I am concerned because your blog lacks depth and insight. It is very superficial. I have posted to you on this already and I am seeing very little attention to what you are reading. I strongly recommend that you plan carefully what you are going to say and that you make stronger interpretations of what tree imagery means in the novel. Blogging means that you have to write material that is of real interest and depth. Also, your work is filled with errors and abbreviations. Your team will not pass this assignment unless you pull it together.
